UMiBO - New tab Bookmarks manager transforms your browser's new tab into a virtual desktop for efficient bookmark management. It lets you open, move, and rename bookmarks like folders on a desktop with windowed views that can be resized and repositioned. The extension is lightweight, optimized for performance even on integrated graphics, and automatically adapts to your OS dark/light settings and Firefox theme colors. Features include customizable backgrounds, fonts, icon sizes, compact mode for extensive bookmark collections, and the ability to add CSS rules for full customization.

UMiBO is open-source, requires minimal permissions, and respects user privacy by not sending data externally. It only fetches favicons from a Google service due to Firefox limitations and runs only when opening a new tab.
