## Description

**GOV.UK ID Check** helps you securely prove your identity for selected government services, including some HMRC services and GOV.UK One Login. The app matches your face with a supported photo ID, such as a UK driving licence, UK or biometric passport, BRP, BRC or Frontier Worker permit.

Take a photo of your ID, scan its biometric chip when required, and complete a face scan using an Android phone running Android 10 or higher. You will need good lighting and a clear camera view. After the check, return to the government service website to see the result. Personal information is securely collected and deleted when no longer needed, and is not stored in the app or on your phone after use.
