## Description

**Translate Selected Text** lets you translate highlighted text directly on any supported webpage without opening a new tab. Choose your preferred target language from the options page, select text, and use the extension menu item to view the translation.

The translation appears in a convenient panel that can be dismissed by clicking outside it or repositioned by dragging its gray header. The add-on does not work on restricted pages, including addons.mozilla.org.
