Pros
- Works well for local translations without the need for cloud services.
- Good for privacy, as it does not rely on online translations.
- Simple user interface and ease of use.
- Ability to translate the same page without pop-ups.
Cons
- Missing support for certain languages (e.g., Russian removed).
- Some features, like "Translate selection," do not work as expected.
- Extension compatibility issues with Firefox Beta and Nightly for Android.
- Need for more translation engine options and a settings section.

I have done all the instructions to get a translation to english on a website that is in German - trying to answer questions and it's not translating to English so now I'm forced to pull up a new window and having to copy paste the question in german to see what is being asked.. problem continues because the answers to choose from are not able to be copied.. this is not working.. I've added extention to translate as well as selected from the menu to translate .. nothing is getting fixed.. why is this happening ?

The project from which this extension got its foundation is a great one and the extension works well too! Waiting for more European and Asian too.

Extension safety
Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk
impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of
damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your
personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they
do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
TranslateLocally for Firefox requires some sensitive permissions that could impact your browser and data security. Exercise caution before installing.
