## Description

EclairTouch Lab Batch is an app designed to group specimens together in a single batch at a collection facility, so they can be transported together in a barcoded container to the laboratory.  Key benefits include: <br>-	Accurate and efficient grouping of specimens for transport.   <br>-	Reduced downstream accessioning errors at the laboratory. Streamlines the pre-analytical workflow for the processing laboratory<br><br>The app guides the collection staff through the digital batching process.  <br><br>Create a batch. <br>Scan the barcode on the transport container e.g., chilly bin, or manually enter a batch ID to create a batch.  <br><br>Group specimens together<br>Allocate items to a batch via scanning the swab barcode or manually entering a swab ID. <br><br>App displays errors when an uncollected swab is scanned into the batch or if it is a duplicate. <br>Confirm to remove the swab from the batch.  <br><br>Display open batches <br>View open batches and the number of specimens in each batch. <br><br>Close the batch <br>Close the batch when complete – batch is ready to be transported to the laboratory via a courier service. <br>Create a new batch for the next group of specimens.
