## Description

EclairTouch Collects is a dedicated collection management app developed to assist phlebotomists with the specimen collection workflow. It is designed to: <br>-	Improve collection workflow efficiency<br>-	Reduce the risk of incorrect patient identification<br>-	Minimise pre-analytical errors <br><br>The app guides the collection staff through the digital collection process for each patient. <br><br>Simplified login process. <br>Scan the barcode ID or enter a user identifier to detect collection staff.  <br><br>Pending collections <br>Display pending collects by campus; locations; and number of patients with pending collections. <br>Suggested route order and priority collections optimise collection rounds.   <br><br>Positive patient identification <br>Scan the patient’s barcode for identification. <br>App displays patient demographic details for collection staff to confirm correct patient identification. <br><br>Order request &amp; specimens to collect  <br>Select orders to collect from patient’s order request. <br>Display details of specimen to collect, including: <br>-	tests requested<br>-	draw order<br>-	number of test tubes required<br>-	additional clinical details<br>-	colour matching with colour tops used by the laboratory. <br><br>Label printing &amp; complete collection  <br>Print labels for specimen collection, detailing collection requirements and specimen types. <br><br>Scan each sample successfully collected and confirm patient collection process. <br>Reschedule collection of uncollected specimens.<br>Process is complete, begin next scheduled collection.
