## Description

SuperTunnel is an open-source browser proxy controller. The Firefox extension applies PAC scripts or fixed proxies through the WebExtensions proxy API, connecting to local proxies or remote controller backends.

<ul><li><strong>Multiple Modes:</strong> Use a local fixed proxy (HTTP/HTTPS) or fetch validated PAC / fixed-proxy profiles from a remote API.</li><li><strong>Authentication:</strong> Optional bearer-token authentication for secure endpoints.</li><li><strong>Live Diagnostics:</strong> Integrated Cloudflare trace health check reporting WARP status, Gateway, Cloudflare data center (colo), and proxy health.</li><li><strong>State Reconciliation:</strong> Persisted settings with automatic connection-state tracking and toolbar badge indicators.</li><li><strong>Privacy First:</strong> Affects browser traffic only and does not collect or transmit personal user telemetry.</li></ul>
<ol><li>Click the SuperTunnel icon in your toolbar to open the popup.</li><li>Choose <strong>Remote API</strong> (and enter your controller endpoint/token) or <strong>Local proxy</strong> (enter host &amp; port).</li><li>Toggle the <strong>Connect</strong> switch to activate the proxy.</li></ol>
