CARTA is a map art and poster maker that helps you design personal city maps, custom wallpapers and printable artwork on your Android device.

Start with your hometown, a favorite travel destination or an address that matters. Find your location, choose a style and make the design your own with colors, text and frames.

FIND YOUR MAP STYLE
Explore 18 built-in looks, including Minimal, Dark OLED, Blueprint, Vintage, Neon, Pastel, Luxury, Sakura, Forest and Copper. Switch between styles and see your map change in the studio preview.

MAKE EVERY DETAIL YOURS
Customize map layers, road colors, line widths and opacity. Adjust the background, text colors, contrast, saturation and warmth. Add paper grain or a vignette for a distinctive finish.

TELL YOUR STORY
Add a title, subtitle, coordinates, date or personal message. Choose from nine font families and refine the alignment and spacing. Create a keepsake for a memorable trip, your first home or a place you want to remember.

SHAPE YOUR DESIGN
Explore rectangular, circular, rounded and arch-shaped maps, plus full-bleed layouts. Adjust borders and margins to suit your artwork. Choose poster, square, wallpaper, story, print and desktop formats.

CREATE ROUTE ART
Import GPX tracks and turn a walk, run or ride into a map poster. Combine multiple tracks and use elevation-based route colors. GPX files with elevation data can also display an elevation profile.

EXPLORE LOCAL DETAILS
Add terrain contours and shaded relief where elevation data is available. Highlight administrative areas supported by OpenStreetMap. Create a home-to-work route using driving, cycling or walking directions.

EXPORT AND KEEP
Save PNG artwork, share JPEG images or export a print-ready PDF at 300 DPI. Keep designs in your local library, duplicate ideas and revisit favorites. Downloaded map data can be reused to restyle and export without an internet connection.

MADE FOR PLACES THAT MATTER
Create city wall art, travel keepsakes, personal map wallpapers and gifts with a connection to a real place.

Internet access is needed to search places and download new map, terrain and routing data. Map detail and boundary coverage vary by location. CARTA contains ads; the largest export resolutions require a rewarded-ad unlock. Designs and cached map data are stored locally.
