Social Media Content Blocker

Adds a browser action icon to the toolbar. Activate to have your feed and stories removed, when visiting Facebook.com

I created this simple extension because I like to use Facebook for events and chatting, while I find the feed simply distracting.

This is really useful - I used to be very distracted by my Facebook feed but not anymore! Only thing is it blocks the Facebook login page as well, but that's probably a good thing because it makes me less likely to use Facebook :)

Extension safety

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Social Media Content Blocker requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.
