## Description

Skip Silence is a browser extension designed to automatically skip silent sections in videos and audio files, enhancing your media playback experience. Currently supported on Firefox 91 Beta due to a fixed bug, it seamlessly works with most websites utilizing HTML5 video or audio elements, including popular platforms like YouTube and Instagram.

Inspired by CaryKH's on-the-fly video editing concept, Skip Silence speeds up portions of media where silence occurs, allowing for more efficient viewing or listening. The extension requires minimal permissions: access to the active tab to monitor media playback and storage to save user preferences.
