Recognising the challenges faced by busy working professionals in monitoring the well-being of their elderly parents, Transcend Services has developed an integrated mobile application that facilitates timely communication and assistance during medical or situational emergencies.

The platform incorporates the following key features.

Emergency Button
This feature provides a one-touch quick-dial function enabling elderly users to contact their loved ones easily, without the need to navigate multiple phone functions. It may be activated when the user feels unwell but is hesitant to reach out to emergency services. Additionally, in cases such as dementia where the user may be disoriented or lost in public, the application transmits a live location (via Google Maps) to their next of kin (NOK) to facilitate prompt assistance and safe recovery.

Non-Movement Alert
This function detects prolonged inactivity and automatically alerts the NOK should the elderly user remain motionless beyond a pre-set threshold. Both the detection timeframe and inactivity duration are customisable to suit individual needs. Upon notification, NOKs can immediately contact their loved ones to ascertain their safety and well-being.
