herbs on a window sill or a few pots on the balcony. It answers the one question
that actually matters day to day: which of my plants needs something today. No
account, no feed, no plant-identification camera to fight with — just your own
garden, the watering schedule you set, and a quiet record of how each plant is
doing.

You add a plant once: give it a name, pick a type and a spot in your home, choose
how often it should be watered, and note its light preference. From then on the
home screen tells you how many plants need water, and every plant card shows its
status and when it was last watered. Tapping "I Watered Today" logs the watering,
moves the next due date forward and clears the plant back to a healthy status.
Everything you log builds a garden journal you can look back through, and a set
of statistics that show how consistent your care has actually been.

1. Add your plants — name, type, location, watering interval and light.
2. Water them, and tap "I Watered Today" when you do.
3. Run a Survival Check whenever a plant looks unhappy in its spot.
4. Log anything worth remembering in the journal.
5. Watch your streak and badges build up as the routine sticks.

WHY ROOTLY GARDENER — most plant apps want an account, a subscription and a
photo of your leaf. This one wants neither. It opens instantly, works on a plane
or in a basement flat with no signal, and holds exactly the information a plant
owner actually keeps in their head: when did I last water this, and is this spot
working. The Survival Check is deliberately simple — four conditions you can
judge by looking, scored into a clear verdict — rather than an opaque diagnosis.

PRIVACY / DATA — Rootly Gardener works fully offline. There is no account, no
analytics, no advertising and no network connection carrying your data. Every
plant, watering event, journal entry and survival check lives in a database on
your device, and "Delete all local data" in Settings removes all of it.

Rootly Gardener provides simple plant care guidance based on the values you
enter. It is not a professional botanical diagnosis tool.
