## Description

**Private Notes** is a Chrome extension providing a safe, fully encrypted environment for your most sensitive information such as recovery codes, Wi-Fi passwords, and server configurations. Your notes are password-protected, encrypted with advanced PBKDF2 hashing, and synchronized securely via Firefox's end-to-end encrypted Sync engine, ensuring double encryption and privacy. 

Top features include automatic data compression, code highlighting for various languages, no additional account setup (uses Firefox Sync), auto-lock for idle security, and encrypted backups local and on the Firefox cloud. This extension requires no special permissions, stores passwords only in hashed form, and keeps unlocked notes only in RAM for maximum safety.
