## Description

**PNG Optimizer** is a Chrome extension designed to optimize PNG images directly within your browser. Simply drag and drop your PNG file(s) into the app to reduce their file size efficiently. You can select from five different open-source optimization engines, including optipng.js, pngcrush.js, pngquant.js, compressor.js, and browser-image-compression.js, to find the best balance between image quality and compression.

The extension provides detailed optimization info in the UI console and supports optimizing JPEG files with certain engines as well. After optimization completes in seconds, download your compressed images effortlessly. PNG Optimizer is ideal for web developers, designers, and anyone needing quick image compression without leaving the browser.
