## Description

**This extension connects Firefox to Password Depot** — the award-winning password manager developed in Germany since 1998. It communicates with the Password Depot desktop client via secure Native Messaging to auto-fill credentials, passkeys, and TOTP codes directly from your encrypted database.

**Your data, your control.** Password Depot never stores passwords on third-party servers. You decide where your encrypted database lives—locally on your PC or USB, in your own cloud storage, or on Password Depot Enterprise Server—and the extension works offline and across multi-page login flows. It includes credential auto-fill, WebAuthn/FIDO2 passkeys, TOTP auto-fill, a password generator, breach checker, credential capture, and a secure clipboard, all designed for the modern web with full Shadow DOM support and multi-language UI.
