I'd used this app for years. When my phone bricked, I asked for help as I believed my settings backed up my data regularly. Someone responded saying I had to manually backup to Google for this reason, and referred to the FAQs (as if anyone would read them unless they had a problem!). I found some data file, but he gave no instructions how to reimplement it, or even how to get raw data. Very unsympathetic. Couldn't find anything useful online either. So be EXTRA sure to backup multiple ways!
