Adequate to the purpose. Annotances: Checking QR code for a pass requires validation from Pronto servers. Pronto cards don't need this, so why does the app? Refreshing the screen for the pass you just tapped. Full screen nag notice to tap to ride. The only time I'm using the app is to tap to ride, but your nag screen is covering the QR code. Completely and uselessly obtrusive.

Don't let Pronto determine your route! It guided us to a stop on the wrong side of the freeway, mapping a walk across it to our hotel. Nope, no way across, and it left us with 45 minutes of walking at dusk on roads with no sidewalks or shoulders. Both Google Maps and Apple Maps later gave us the correct routing. Also, it wouldn't let me delete the auto-refill credit card on my Pixel phone (though it let my wife do so on her iPhone) so the app stole $12.50 at the end of our visit to San Diego.

Mid. Sure it keeps my monthly pass at hand, but the departures feature sometimes works. Usually, when arriving at a big station, like Oceanside or Santa Fe, when you select for coaster departures it displays sprinters or trams and doesn't display the coaster. Tram times are rarely accurate... It's not completely terrible but I expected more.

The app STILL does not support nfc so you can tap your phone like you would a card. The scanning system is just terrible, I cannot tell you how many times I have missed a trolley because the scanner would not work. It it unbelievable to me that this has not been implemented yet. Furthermore I have experienced issues in the past where it would desync the account because the clocks did not match exactly, and many more times where it would simply not load the QR code at all.

Inconvenient all around. You can't purchase a day pass on the app. Because of that, I got a physical card, bought the day pass, and then linked it to the app. But when I tapped in from the app, it charged me the normal fare with the transfer window??! There's really no point having the app if it's not going to do what a physical card would anyway. Also, I couldn't delete an old card, and the QR code only shows the first card, so I had to go through a few screens to tap in anyway! Inconvenient!

Kind of pissed off because I've been using this app for a couple of months. All of a sudden now it's saying that there's no connection found and it acts like there's no routes available. Kind of annoying I even downloaded it and uninstalled hoping it would fix nothing's working, ignore whenever they reach out to you. They reached out to me and then had the nerve to say that they couldn't find my account. Worst company ever

Honestly I wish I could give the app a better rating. Let me start off by saying the app is "ok" my biggest issue at first was purchasing my "Adult Fare Pass" for the month 😑. I bought my fair and it did not appear (even tho I could see the monthly pass there. So I had to delete the app and redownload it again to transfer the pass that I bought which should not even be an option IMO. It should let you choose the card it was purchased and set as default. This app needs options.

I don't understand why I can't just buy a day pass through the app. This paying $2.50 for a transfer window is not worth it and will cost me more in the long run. If I have three errands to run in one area and it takes the whole transfer window I then have to pay again go to the next destination and then miss the window again. I then have to pay a third time to go home. Apps are supposed tobe designed to make things easier this has complicated the system more than necessary. I would give zero

Easy to use, but they find ways to keep your money. For example, I have a small amount of money loaded, but can't use it to buy a monthly pass for some reason. Also, ABSOLUTELY NOT worth buying a monthly pass unless it's at the beginning of the month, or you use the bus every day. Otherwise, if you bought a month pass for $72 on the 19th, you gotta pay another $72 on the 1st. The scanner always has a hard time reading the QR codes too. Only time I've said it's better to still use plastic cards.

• Sometimes not accurate with the bus schedules. Otherwise, a good application. I need to get more familiar on how to use it well. • Need to improve the scanners' sensitivity installed in the buses that makes it so hard to scan via phone or card . Unlike when we were using the Compass Card, it was so easy. We just tap the card on the machine and go. No sweat. You have to improve that PRONTO scanner. It is so annoying. Instead of exclaiming "Pronto!" One gets to exclaim "Que Horror!"
