## Description

LakeExplorer is the first comprehensive identification app that focuses on inland waters. The aim of the app is to promote nature experiences and impart knowledge of nature and species.<br>The LakeExplorer integrates 700 animal and plant species on and in the body of water.<br>It is aimed specifically at those active in diving, fishing and other people interested in water sports and nature.<br><br>Comprehensive background information is provided via a knowledge area.<br><br>Citizen Science – recording species occurrences and changes in their distribution and making the data available via GBIF
