Save the trees!

Our aim is to collect the prestigious, large trees in the database, especially in Börzsöny and its surroundings.
Take a tape measure with you! Measure your torso at chest height.

If it is branching, bumpy, measure the smallest possible circumference between the ground and the height of 130 cm. Save larger than 200 cm circles!

Always fix the coordinate at the base of the tree!
Take a photograph of the trunk and further afield so that the whole tree fits!
If your name is known (eg tree of Sisa Pista), also write it down!

If you have an odvas, a bat, a bird, etc. write it down in the comment!
The Börzsöny Foundation shares the collected data with forest planners, foresters and conservationists, helping to ensure that centuries-old memories are not lost.
