Summary

This is an unofficial extension that give you a power shortcut from the address bar to a Jira issue, project or search. It also shows you recently updated, assigned issues that do not have the status "Done".

It requires you to be logged in to Jira for it to work because it only uses same-site cookies to make requests. The extension never reads your session directly or collect any form of analytics. Because I'm blind to usage data, I'd love to hear your feedback over the support channel or holler at me on twitter at https://twitter.com/daemonsy

To use the quick jump, type j <tab> in the omnibox. Type in the ticket number, you may omit the dash.

If you type a project key, example PTM, it jumps you to the project URL. Jira will redirect you to an active sprint or the backlog.

Click on the icon to see recent issues assigned to you.

Update 2.0.3: Bug fix for the experimental Jira card injection feature. Now the transition buttons should actually work.

User reviews
Could be great if you can provide a quick number representing the ticket count on the plugin extension. The J+TAB feature is also awesome specially if you are having lots of tabs open and want to quickly navigate to a ticket. Feature Request: 1. Notification popup for any activity to current_user() tickets. 2. Total Ticket count number representation on extension 3. Export ticket details for current_user()

I love it, except it doesn't handle projects where the project key can equal XYZ or XYZ2. For example, If i don't place a hyphen in the omnibox and I type in "XYZ2236", the extension takes me to ticket XYZ-2236 of the project XYZ, and not ticket XYZ2-236 of the project XYZ2. I'm not sure how it would know to handle this situation, but it's something to consider.

Does not allow urls that are not sub-domains of atlassian.com -- I use a local hosted instance of JIRA (less common these days, but still important to support).
