## Description

Blocks the scrolling, algorithmic parts of YouTube, Instagram, and Reddit — direct links, DMs, posting, search, and subreddits still work fine.

noalgo blocks the parts of YouTube, Instagram, and Reddit built to keep you scrolling — without breaking the parts you actually came to use.

YouTube — only videos you open directly play. The home page, search, trending, and related-video suggestions are blocked. Once you're watching something, related videos, end screens, and autoplay-to-next are disabled too, so a video someone sends you doesn't turn into an hour of recommendations.

Instagram — Direct Messages, posting, search, profiles, and individual posts/reels all work normally. Only the home feed, Explore, and the Reels tab are blocked.

Reddit — individual subreddits, posts, comments, profiles, messages, and search all work. Only the front page and its sort views (hot/new/top/rising/etc.) — plus r/all and r/popular, which are really just the front page again — are blocked.

Getting redirected doesn't just dump you on an error page: YouTube and Reddit show a quick note explaining what happened, and Instagram drops you straight into your messages instead.

Everything's configurable from the extension's settings page — turn any site's restriction on or off, or add your own extra allowed/blocked paths if the defaults aren't quite right for you.

noalgo doesn't collect any data. It only stores your settings locally in the browser and never sends anything anywhere.
