## Description

Værstat brings together Norwegian weather stations in one clear map. Find stations nearby and see temperature records from all over the country.<br><br>Værstat shows information about station quality, including location, sensor standard and known quality notes. This makes it easier to understand and assess the measurements behind weather records.<br><br>This is information that has been difficult for the public to access, but which Værstat provides easy access to.<br><br>With Værstat you can:<br>• find nearby weather stations in a map and list<br>• see temperature records for each station<br>• examine the stations&#39; quality status and history<br>• contribute photos, comments and check-ins when you are at a station<br>• follow activity, comments and photos from the stations<br><br>Whether you follow the weather on a daily basis, investigate local conditions or hunt for Norwegian temperature records, Værstat gives you better access to the measuring stations and the data behind the numbers.<br><br>The weather data is retrieved from MET&#39;s Frost service. Measurements and quality information may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect and should not be used as the sole basis for safety-critical decisions.<br><br>Public data sources<br>Station data, weather measurements and quality information come from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute through Frost:<br>https://frost.met.no/<br><br>Information about MET&#39;s open meteorological data:<br>https://www.met.no/frie-meteorologiske-data<br><br>Værstat is an independent app developed by Ole Østlid.
