## Description

Meet Audio Auto-Select remembers the mic and speaker you actually want on Google Meet, then selects them the moment those devices show up.

Join a call with AirPods in. Firefox still loves the MacBook mic. Meet still remembers last Tuesday’s headset. You click around Audio settings, miss the first thirty seconds, and sound like you’re in a bathroom. This add-on is for that.

It defaults to AirPods. Open the toolbar popup and you can pick any mic and speaker you have, or turn auto-select off. The popup also shows what Meet is really using right now: the mic in the call, and the speaker audio is coming out of.

Use the popup for your everyday defaults. Change devices inside Meet for a one-off call and the extension will not fight you. Next time you join, your preferred devices come back if they are connected.

Device lists are from the current Meet visit, not a junk drawer of every dongle you have ever owned.

It only runs on <a href="https://prod.outgoing.prod.webservices.mozgcp.net/v1/a8994b92de2793ac86a7b02be4f7f74668a003c9d8828fa32b8b40ffad3e71b4/http%3A//meet.google.com" rel="nofollow">meet.google.com</a>. Preferred device names stay in Firefox on your computer. Nothing is sent anywhere. No analytics, no accounts, no extra clicks.

Firefox 140 or later, desktop.
