## Description

<strong>Medium to Markdown</strong> saves the Medium article you are reading as clean Markdown with images — ready for Obsidian, Logseq, or any local notes app.

The extension reads the page from your <strong>logged-in browser tab</strong>, so <strong>member-only content</strong> is included when you are signed in to Medium. Everything runs <strong>locally</strong> in Firefox; nothing is sent to our servers.

<strong>What you can do</strong>
<ul><li><strong>Download</strong> — one ZIP file with the article (.md) and an images folder</li><li><strong>Copy</strong> — full article Markdown to the clipboard in one click</li><li><strong>Open in MD Reader Pro</strong> <em>(optional, Windows)</em> — read the article in a native Markdown viewer with images</li></ul>
<strong>On Medium article pages</strong>

Three buttons appear in the action bar (next to Save and Share):
<ol><li>Download — save as ZIP or to your Downloads folder  </li><li>Copy — Markdown to clipboard  </li><li>Open in MD Reader Pro — optional Windows companion app  </li></ol>
You can also use the <strong>toolbar popup</strong> to save the current article.

<strong>Output layout</strong>

Each export is a folder named after the article. Inside you get one Markdown file and an images subfolder. Example for an article “My Article”:
<ul><li>My-Article/My-Article.md — article text  </li><li>My-Article/images/01.webp, 02.png, … — images linked from the Markdown  </li></ul>
Unpack the ZIP into your vault or project; relative image paths work as-is.
