## Description

MentalAId is practice software for psychosocial therapists. It brings referrals, client records and session reporting together in one place, so you spend less time on administration.<br><br>RECORDING THAT KEEPS RUNNING<br>Record a session and keep using your device meanwhile. The recording continues while you check your calendar, look something up, or lock the screen. A notification in your status bar shows at all times that recording is in progress.<br><br>FROM CONVERSATION TO DRAFT REPORT<br>After the session you get a written transcript and a draft for your progress note. You review, correct and commit it — the final word stays yours.<br><br>REFERRALS IN ONE PLACE<br>Referrers submit clients in a structured way. You see straight away who is waiting, and accept or pass on.<br><br>CAREFUL WITH DATA<br>• Recording happens only with the consent of every participant, recorded in the client file<br>• Audio stays encrypted on your device until the upload is confirmed<br>• Audio is erased automatically after thirty days<br>• You can delete a recording together with its transcript; the activity log keeps the fact that it happened<br>• All data is held within the European Union, in Ireland<br><br>WHY THE APP RECORDS IN THE BACKGROUND<br>A session lasts up to an hour. The therapist needs to consult a calendar or let the screen lock during that time, and the recording has to continue — an interrupted recording means a lost session report. The recording therefore runs as a foreground service with a visible notification, and only after the therapist presses record.<br><br>WHO IT IS FOR<br>Psychosocial therapists and their referrers: primary-care mental health practitioners, care coordination teams, occupational physicians and HR.<br><br>GETTING STARTED<br>Register your practice from within the app and carry straight on.
