The low—web Chrome extension is designed to minimize energy consumption and carbon emissions caused by internet browsing. By blocking unnecessary content such as share buttons, avatars, and fonts, and by optimizing media delivery—lowering video quality, disabling autoplay, and delaying image loading—it reduces the environmental impact of each page visit.
