LightSession Pro for ChatGPT is a local-only browser extension that speeds up long ChatGPT conversations by trimming older messages from the page. Your real chat history stays on OpenAI's servers; only the current page's DOM is trimmed, ensuring no data leaves your device.

How it works: it runs entirely in your browser, keeping only the last N messages (configurable), trimming after a response finishes streaming, and pausing the trim while you scroll to read history. It features a simple popup toggle, a configurable messages-to-keep setting, and a Refresh button to reload full history. All processing is 100% local with no data collection or analytics, and the code is open source on GitHub. Works on chat.openai.com and chatgpt.com.
