## Description

The Landmarks Chrome extension enhances web navigation by allowing users to jump between defined landmark regions like navigation bars, search areas, and main content. Utilizing keyboard shortcuts or an intuitive pop-up menu, this tool empowers users to quickly access significant areas of a web page—provided the page author has included landmark attributes.

Designed with accessibility in mind, Landmarks runs automatically on all pages to detect landmark regions and update the toolbar badge accordingly. The extension respects user privacy by not collecting any data. Originally developed by David Todd at IBM, this extension continues to evolve with community support, making web browsing more efficient and accessible.
