因为一些未知的原因，很多国外的网站很难打开或者速度很慢，facebook/twitter这样的社交网站暂且不说，有时连google和很多资料网站都无法打开，这让我们这些靠获得国外第一手互联网资料工作的人都很难高效地开展工作。

市面上有很多解决方案，比如VPN、goAgent、SSH tunnel，Proxy SwitchySharp, Http/socks代理服务器，但是我们都觉得不够方便，要么需要频繁切换，要么自己要花时间配置和管理服务器。

翻越不为了玩游戏，不为了隐藏上网者身份，而是专门为互联网工作者打造，按照互联网工作者的使用习惯提供尽量方便的使用方法。

使用翻越的过程中，可以开启“自动切换模式”，遇到有打开障碍或者速度很慢的网站，就一键“添加规则”，将域名加入到翻越的规则列表中。

这样的话，当你访问在规则列表中的网站的时候，就会自动启用翻越；而访问不在规则列表中的网站时，就自动使用直接连接。既不影响国内网站的速度，又不影响国外网站的访问，只需要初次遭遇访问障碍的时候添加规则，后续不用进行任何操作。
