Addiction is a complex condition that requires a personalized treatment approach capable of understanding all the characteristics of the individual, the type of substance or situation involved and the surrounding environment.

The European Institute of Addictions (IEuD) is a cutting-edge institute for the treatment of addiction able to offer a careful assessment of the problem of addiction to substances (drugs, alcohol, drugs, etc.) or behavioral (sex, gambling, etc.) ..) and a personalized treatment, not deriving from preconceived readings of the phenomenon, able to guarantee more successful and sustainable treatment programs over time.

The CLOSER APP was developed by IEuD to encourage interaction between the patient and the treating team in order to intensify the therapeutic relationship and make the treatment process more effective. A prerequisite for the use of CLOSER is that, once the diagnostic phase of the problem has been completed, an agreement has been discussed and reached between the patient and the team on the representations of the problem to be treated, on the realistically achievable objectives and on the most convenient tools to use ("agreement of treatment").

CLOSER is therefore not an APP designed for "solitary" use by the patient or for self-help, but an APP that keeps the patient and therapist closer by constantly supporting the motivation for the change project undertaken.
