PECORE DI MONTAGNA

The MOUNTAIN SHEEP application was created by AEDIT s.r.l. on behalf of the Department of Agronomy Animals Food Natural Resources and Environment (DAFNE) of the University of Padua, within the project – SHEEP AL.L. CHAIN ​​(Sheep Alpagota Lamon Chain) funded by the PSR 2014-2020 of the Veneto Region.

The app contains the decision support system for the reproductive management of the flock, associating the genetic characterization data to each ram surveyed by the companies.

The app aims to guide farmers in choosing the best ram for their flock as well as being able to calculate benchmark indicators for the evaluation of correct business practices.
