Casa di Cura Villa Elisa

The Accredited Private Nursing Home "Villa Elisa" in Cinquefrondi (RC) was born in the early seventies on the initiative of Dr. Giuseppe Depino and Dr. Fortunata Megale.

The intention was to create a health facility to make women's and children's health its strong point.

The obstetric, gynecological and neonatological structure has represented a point of reference for the entire territory of the Gioia Tauro plain. Over the years he has specialized his skills extending them to other clinical disciplines such as ophthalmology, surgery, intensive rehabilitation, long-term care and, more generally, instrumental diagnostic imaging services.

This is also thanks to a structural expansion which, since 1992, has brought the surface of the clinic up to 4500 square meters.

The commitment and will of Dr. Depino, General Manager of the Nursing Home, have always been supported by his family: his wife, the late Dr. Fortunata Megale, pediatrician, founder and former head of the Neonatology department; daughters, Dr. Rosa, neonatologist pediatrician, recently responsible for the U.O. Neonatology; Dr. Angela, administrative director; Dr. Elisa, obstetrician gynecologist doctor.

The daughters carry on with constant commitment the work started more than forty years ago by their parents.

The whole family, together with highly qualified doctors and paramedical staff, make the nursing home not only a place in which to provide healthcare, but a clinical center in which the patient plays a central role. The nursing home works in agreement with the National Health Service.
