## Description

Timeline Tracks keeps your Google Timeline paths accurate even when you&#39;re in the outdoors: hiking, sailing, hang gliding, or anywhere your phone isn&#39;t near Wi-Fi access points. It can also help location-sharing (like Life360) and other background location apps in the same way.<br><br>Free, stores no info about you, 100% private, no ads, and open source. Just start it when you start your outdoor activity.<br><br>Simple by design:<br>  - Set your interval, from seconds to hours.<br>  - Tap Start. It runs in the background.<br>  - Tap Stop, or let it auto-stop when you&#39;re stationary.<br><br>It works by requesting a GPS location at a regular interval (you choose how often). A shorter interval is more accurate; a longer interval saves more battery. Every app on your phone that uses location, including Google Timeline, receives those locations automatically. No special integration needed.<br><br>Privacy: No data is collected, stored, or transmitted.
