## Description

ACV Auctions is a dealer-to-dealer wholesale marketplace that replaces physical car auctions with live online auctions lasting 20 minutes. Sellers simply scan the VIN, enter condition notes, snap photos, and send to auction; thousands of bidders can participate in real time from mobile devices.

After an auction ends, the high bidder can be counter-offered and negotiations can continue in real time. Buyers can bid with live or proxy bids, and payments and title transfers are handled through ACV, with options like electronic checks and prepaid labels for titles. Best of all, ACV Auctions is free for dealers—no monthly fees, with lower buyer and seller fees than traditional auctions.
