## Description

Symplr Workforce helps organizations manage people and time more efficiently. The extension supports employees with self-scheduling, open shift requests, shift trades, viewing schedules, time-off requests, and clocking in, including timecard management and basic location checks. Note: available features differ based on your solution and the ShiftSelect workflow.

Managers gain visibility and control: they can review timecards, requests, and exceptions, correct mismatches by editing schedules or clockings, monitor missed clocking alerts and overtime, and approve clockings, calendars, and timecards while assessing hourly staffing levels.

## Review summary

User reviews for symplr Workforce on Apple consistently report login and reliability problems. Key pain points include Face ID not working and manual logins, persistent memory issues requiring re-entry of credentials, and slow authentication causing significant delays. Scheduling features also frustrate users due to missing shift notifications, inability to pick up partial shifts, and limited visibility of pending self-schedule requests. When the app is accessible, core timekeeping functions like viewing clock-in times are available, but overall stability and usability need major improvements.

### Pros

- Core timekeeping features (clock in/out, viewing clock-in times) are available when the app is accessible.
- When login works, the app provides basic functionality for checking clock-in times and time data.
- Biometric login (Face ID) was a convenient access method when it functioned.

### Cons

- Biometric login (Face ID) is not working, forcing users to log in with email and password every time.
- The app does not remember login details, requiring repeated credential entry and frequent Duo prompts.
- Logging in/out is slow and cumbersome, with many users reporting several minutes per session.
- Scheduling/shift management is problematic: no notifications for awarded shifts, cannot pick up partial shifts, and pending self-schedule requests are hard to view.
- Overall reliability and usability are poor, with crashes, confusing UI, and updates that worsen the experience.
