## Review summary

Users report the Seek Thermal iOS app as unstable and poorly supported. The device often fails to recognize the camera or requires clunky USB-C/Lightning adapters, especially on newer iPhones. Crashes and black screens are common, and the UI is confusing with few features. Support is unresponsive and updates are infrequent. For non-professionals, it may still offer basic thermal imaging, but reliability on modern hardware is generally poor.

### Pros

- Photo and video capture of thermal images with multiple color palettes, including grayscale.
- Useful for basic, non-professional tasks like simple heat-loss assessment.
- Some backward compatibility on older iPhones, allowing limited use on legacy hardware.

### Cons

- Incompatibility with newer iPhones and USB-C adapters; camera recognition is unreliable on newer devices.
- Frequent crashes, freezes, and black screen issues during use.
- Poor and unresponsive support; little to no ongoing app updates or maintenance.
- Clunky, confusing UI/UX with limited controls and no easy image overlay or advanced features.
- Video training content can stall or fail to load inside the app.
