The neanderland STEIG Hiking App is your perfect companion and tour planner for hiking the neanderland STEIG. It brings together route information, points of interest, restaurants, and sights in one easy-to-use tool. The neanderland STEIG spans about 240 kilometres and is one of Germany’s most important cultural tourism hiking trails. With 17 stages and discovery loops ranging from 2 to 19 kilometres, the app supports half-day and full-day tours and helps you discover the Niederberg region, the Rhineland, and the Mettmann district. Circular discovery loops extend the trail with extra sights and nature experiences. The app guides you interactively with GPS, shows your current location on a map, and highlights nearby accommodations, restaurants, and sights along the way, even offline.

Key features include free download, full route coverage, and flexible planning for individual stages and circular trails. You’ll find numerous POIs, accommodations, restaurants, and sights in the immediate vicinity, plus suggestions for activities in the surrounding area.
