## Review summary

Final Stand: Waterloo is widely praised for addictive, engaging gameplay, strong overall quality, and a distinctive 1815 setting with varied weapons and levels. Reviewers highlight its replayability and smooth play on mobile. However, monetization is a major concern, with players unhappy about pay-to-play and forced payments after wave 14. A data-save bug reported on reinstall also hurts experience. Despite these issues, the game remains appealing to strategy fans who enjoy weapon variety, difficulty options, and ongoing challenge.

### Pros

- Highly addictive and engaging gameplay that keeps players returning
- Overall quality is widely praised with positive ratings and enthusiasm
- Distinct weapon design and period flavor (e.g., muskets represented as M1 Garands) that add charm
- Good variety with multiple levels and difficulties, boosting replayability

### Cons

- Monetization/pay-to-play model requiring a full game purchase
- Forced payments after wave 14 (e.g., 99 cents) blocking progression
- Progress not saved after reinstall, risking lost data
