## Description

**HanYou** is an offline Chinese dictionary, translator, and learning companion for Mandarin and Cantonese. Search using Simplified or Traditional Chinese, pinyin, Jyutping, handwriting, radicals, or more than 20 supported languages. Hear word and sentence pronunciations, explore example sentences, create vocabulary lists, and analyze Chinese text with automatic word definitions and pinyin.

Its optical character recognition engine recognizes more than 13,000 Chinese characters from live camera feeds or images, including horizontal and vertical text. HanYou also offers personalized flashcards, Safari web page support, and the HanYou Wall community, where learners can share questions and pictures for help.
