## Description

Since 1940, Military Times has delivered independent, rigorous coverage for U.S. military members and the defense community. Our reporting covers global conflicts, pay and benefits, the Pentagon and Congress, military families, health care, education, and veterans, with provocative commentary, engaging video segments, and special reports.

The Military Times app brings this reporting to your device with features like easy sharing, a digital print edition, and the ability to save and revisit important articles in a personalized 'Saved' tab.

## Review summary

User reviews cluster around three issues: the app often stops updating, leaving stale content; some readers perceive bias in coverage; and many request a dark mode. When updates do occur, users praise the breadth of military news and the depth of coverage. Overall sentiment is mixed due to reliability problems, though content quality and value are recognized when the app is current.

### Pros

- Broad, up-to-date military news across all branches and topics.
- Provides unique perspectives not always covered by mainstream outlets.
- Perceived good value for money with a reasonable subscription price.

### Cons

- App frequently stops updating and shows stale content for weeks (notably since August 2025).
- Perceived bias in reporting, with some reviewers describing a left-leaning slant.
- Missing dark mode / dark-theme option (a commonly requested feature).
