## Description

GPX-Viewer lets you import and view GPX files from cloud services or your device, with a customizable map display. Choose Apple Maps, Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, or a custom tile source, and colorize waypoints, track points, routes, and tracks to suit your style.

Organize GPX files in folders, preview tracks, and import GPX data into the current file. Share waypoints with Apple Maps, prevent the device from sleeping, and create charts of elevation or speed on the Y axis and distance or time on the X axis. A sample GPX file is included, and you can download more GPX files from popular sites.

## Review summary

Users like its value, intuitive UI, data graphs, and map options, plus easy GPX import/export. However, repeated GPX import failures, crashes, and confusing UX reduce reliability. Some routes render incorrectly and file permission issues appear. Overall, it offers strong GPX analysis at a low price, but import stability and UX clarity need work.

### Pros

- Excellent value for money: affordable, ads-free, and worth buying again.
- Intuitive UI with helpful hints (info button) and a quick learning curve.
- Rich GPX data graphs for analysis (speed vs. points, elevation over time).
- Flexible maps with multiple base styles and fast rendering.
- Easy GPX import/export via iCloud and other sources.

### Cons

- GPX import often fails or is tedious, risking data loss.
- Stability issues: app crashes and sometimes fails to populate data.
- Confusing or non-intuitive UX at times.
- GPX routes can render incorrectly (straight lines between waypoints, not following roads).
- Permission/opening errors when accessing local GPX files.
