Celestron SkyPortal is a planetarium app that redefines how you experience the night sky. Explore the Solar System, 120,000 stars, over 200 star clusters, nebulae, galaxies, and dozens of asteroids, comets, and satellites—including the ISS. When connected to a compatible Celestron WiFi telescope, you can automatically point the telescope to any object and view it in detail.

The app includes time controls to animate transits and eclipses, Compass Mode for real-time sky displays, SkyAlign-based telescope control with advanced mount modeling for precise go-to pointing, and access to hundreds of object descriptions, NASA images, and over four hours of audio narration to guide your observing. Night Vision helps preserve eyesight after dark, making SkyPortal a comprehensive tool for education and exploration.
