## Description

RTP Viewer lets you view Road Trip Planner files on Apple devices. Create and edit RTP files with Road Trip Planner for iOS or OS X, then anyone can view the files with this app. It is free, requires no subscription, and respects your privacy by not collecting any data.

While you can edit the files with this app, you cannot save your edits here. The iOS app Road Trip Planner at the App Store is virtually identical and allows saving edits. The extension includes several sample files (including a Route 66 sample) to help you get started. For more information or bug reports, contact us via the Support URL.

## Review summary

Users praise the app for rich planning tools and an easy-to-use interface, especially for long trips and for saving/reusing trips across devices. However, many reviews cite onboarding difficulties, reliability problems (crashes and lost data), mapping gaps, limited CarPlay integration, and confusing payment/support issues.

### Pros

### Cons

- Onboarding is unclear; learning to use the app can be difficult.
- Reliability issues include crashes, scrambled trip orders, and saving problems.
- Mapping/data gaps: not all roads are available, address lookups can fail, zip codes are often ignored.
