## Review summary

User reviews show strong enthusiasm for Mouse for Cats due to high cat engagement, no-ads endless play, and appealing interactive cues that work across multiple cats and ages. However, recurring issues dampen the experience: persistent audio problems, stability bugs like freezes, and upgrade-related glitches. While many cats love it, not every cat will engage, and some owners report loss of interest over time. Addressing audio stability and upgrade bugs would likely improve overall satisfaction.

### Pros

- Cats are highly engaged and many households report multiple cats playing for long periods, with significant energy expenditure.
- No ads and endless play provide long-lasting, uninterrupted entertainment for cats.
- Realistic cues like squeaks when the mouse is touched and tail motions mimic prey, keeping cats interested.
- Appeals to different ages—from kittens to seniors—often turning cats into eager “iPad kids.”
- Works well across households with several cats and various personalities, enhancing the overall experience for multiple pets.

### Cons

- Frequent sound issues across devices, including no sound or muted audio, sometimes related to device volume or silent mode.
- Stability bugs such as freezing at 100% after closing the app, requiring reinstall to regain access.
- Bugs after upgrading to the full version (e.g., no mice appearing) or issues when re-downloading.
- Not all cats engage with the game; some cats show little interest or lose interest after initial excitement.
