## Description

JogRunSprint is a Chrome extension that brings the 10-20-30 interval training concept to your workouts. Based on the work of Jens Bangsbo and Thomas Gunnarson at the University of Copenhagen, it lets you choose how many sets to run and then guides you with visual and audio cues, plus warm-up recommendations.

Use it to follow a proven pacing method and work toward faster times over weeks—reported improvements include faster 5K times in some study groups. The method has received coverage in Runners World and Men's Health. Please note that continued background GPS use can dramatically decrease battery life.

## Review summary

Users praise JogRunSprint for its simple, easy-to-use interface and effective interval pacing on iPhone. However, they report persistent Apple Watch problems: the watch app often doesn’t work or acts only as a controller, and the app crashes or freezes. Data reliability is another major concern—stats may not appear, and workouts may not be saved after upgrading. Voice prompts can be slow or distracting, and the app may pause when the phone is off or the screen is locked. Watch support and data reliability need significant improvement.

### Pros

- Simple, easy-to-use interface.
- Effective interval pacing and cues (tells you when the next interval starts and supports multiple speeds).
- Works well on iPhone with a clean design.
- Good for quick workouts and energy boosts.

### Cons

- Apple Watch integration is unreliable or non-functional; the watch app often doesn’t work or acts only as a controller and can crash.
- Frequent crashes/launch failures and overall instability on both iPhone and watch.
- Data/stat tracking problems after upgrading; stats may not appear and workouts may not be saved.
- Voice prompts can be slow, monotone, or distracting and interfere with listening to music.
- The app may pause or stop when the phone is off or the screen is locked, indicating limited standalone watch functionality.
