## Description

iThermonitor delivers 24/7 temperature monitoring for kids with a refreshed interface, recording data every 4 seconds and providing a Temperature Analysis that shows the highest temperature and fever duration per episode. The Temperature Trend Chart combines the temperature chart with fever-related events to help caregivers understand fever progression at a glance.

The app supports multiple sensors on a single device, real-time high-temperature alerts, and professional data analysis through collaboration with Boston Children's Hospital. It includes Thermia fever-management tips licensed from Boston Children's Hospital and can sync data with the Health app on iOS (requires iOS 8).

## Rankings

## Review summary

User reviews cluster around recurring connectivity and reliability problems: pairing the thermometer, remote/multi-device mirroring, and overall app stability often fail after updates. Data loss and inconvenient sign-in/notification controls are common complaints. A minority note durable hardware and usefulness for infant fever monitoring when the app is functioning. Overall, the app has valuable capabilities, but frequent breaking changes and setup hurdles undermine daily use.

### Pros

- Remote monitoring from a second device was a valued feature when it worked.
- Readings were accurate and comparable to handheld thermometers.
- Durable hardware that continues to work over years.
- Refined, simple app interface with useful information.
- Some caregivers valued the device for monitoring infant fever when the app functioned properly.

### Cons

- Ongoing connectivity and pairing issues with the thermometer; the device is not found or cannot connect.
- Loss or removal of remote/multi-device mirroring features after updates, making it impossible to monitor from a second device.
- App instability: blank screens, crashes, and generic error pages.
- Data loss and regression of features after updates (e.g., sign-in changes, lost data).
- Inaccurate or unreliable temperature readings and occasional device non-functionality.
