KnowWake is a free marine navigation Chrome extension covering the United States, Canada, Caribbean, Mexico, South Africa, United Kingdom, parts of Europe, the Arabian Peninsula, and now all of Australia and New Zealand. It hosts 50,000+ verified points of interest—restaurants, marinas, fuel docks, yacht clubs, lodging, vessel services, dive shops, boat ramps, dive and snorkel areas, bridges, locks, popular spots, town docks, anchorages and more.

Users contribute real-time waterway reports to help crews stay informed about hazards, marine life, police and other important information. Core features include Wake zones (color-coded waterways), Marine Weather Suite, NAVAIDS, Anchor Alarm, Virtual Dive Flag, Routing, NOAA-depth data, offline mode, Augmented Reality, and safety tools like SOS and Float Plan generator.
