CheckWeather puts the public weather models for your location side by side and shows you two things no other weather app does: how much they agree, hour by hour, and which one has actually been right where you live.

WHAT YOU SEE
- A forecast confidence chip: High, Medium or Low, with how far apart the models are right now.
- The number on screen comes from the model that has been most accurate in your city over the last 30 days, never a blind average.
- Rain, next 48 hours, model by model: each model's own rain, hour by hour, on one scale, with midnight marked.
- Who says what: every model's high, low and rain for each of the next eight days, with a three-hour table underneath.
- How right were they here: yesterday's forecasts held against what happened, and how far off to expect a forecast at one, three and seven days' notice.
- Rain radar with a scrubber, air quality and pollen, sea state on the coast, sunrise, sunset and golden hour, and severe weather warnings from the National Weather Service in the US.
- An alert when the models stop agreeing about tomorrow, plus a morning briefing and rain alerts, scheduled on your phone from the forecast it already has.

United States: NWS National Blend, NOAA GFS, ECMWF. United Kingdom: Met Office, ECMWF, GFS. Canada: Environment Canada GEM, ECMWF, GFS. Australia and New Zealand: ECMWF, GFS, DWD ICON. Anywhere else: the three global models every national forecaster starts from.

ACCURACY YOU CAN CHECK
Every model's forecast is scored daily against reanalysis of what actually happened, across 300 cities in each country, on checkweather.io. The apps that keep their models private cannot be checked like this, so we do not pretend to grade them.
