## Description

New: a styled noise map with colour coded markers, a dB reference table for everyday sounds, and full dark mode support.

NoiseBook turns your phone into a simple, honest noise level meter. Start a measurement, watch the gauge move, and keep a logbook of the places and moments that were too loud, or pleasantly quiet.

MEASURE IN SECONDS
Tap start and NoiseBook samples the microphone once per second. You see the live level on an analog gauge or a clean digital readout, plus minimum, average and maximum for the whole session and a rolling 30 second chart.

UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU HEAR
Every reading is put into context with everyday reference points: a quiet room, a normal conversation, busy traffic, a jet engine. A reference table lists them all so a number like 65 dB actually means something.

KEEP A LOGBOOK
Save a measurement with a title and, if you like, your location. The logbook shows every entry with date, level and place, filtered by the last hour, the last 24 hours or the last week.

SEE IT ON A MAP (PREMIUM)
Premium unlocks the noise map: every saved measurement becomes a colour coded marker, green for quiet, yellow for moderate, red for loud. Frame your neighbourhood, your commute or your holiday and spot the loud corners at a glance. Premium also includes the full 7 day history filter.

PRIVACY FIRST
Everything is stored on your device. There is no account and no upload of your measurements. Crash reports and anonymous usage statistics are off until you switch them on, and you can turn them off again at any time in Settings.

GOOD TO KNOW
Phone microphones are not certified measuring instruments. NoiseBook gives you consistent, comparable readings on your device, not a legally binding measurement.
