Ever stood in a bookshop staring at a wall of spines, certain that one of them is on your list, but unable to remember which?

WishShelf answers that. Photograph the shelf, and it reads the spines and points out the books you already wanted.

HOW IT WORKS

Take a photo of any bookshelf: a bookshop, a library, a charity shop, a friend's living room. WishShelf reads the titles printed on the spines and checks them against the list of books you are looking for. Matches are flagged straight away, so you know what to pull off the shelf before you have picked up a single book.

WHY PEOPLE USE IT

Charity shops and secondhand bookshops rarely sort by anything useful. Library sales are worse. A want-to-read list that lives in another app is no help when you are standing in front of four hundred spines with ten minutes to spare. WishShelf turns that pile into a short answer.

BUILT FOR READERS

No ads in the reading experience. No social feed. No reading challenges or streaks. It does one thing: it tells you whether the books you want are on the shelf in front of you.

Your list stays yours. Photographs are used to identify books and nothing else.

WishShelf is independently made and actively developed. If a scan misses something, there is a report button in the app, and those reports are read.
